Aegis 2025.3 (8 January 2026)
Feature Overview Video
Reporting and Data Management
A new report table has been added to display charge weight by explosive and charge diameter, allowing you to analyse charging more effectively—similar in structure to the existing detonator by leg length tables. You can now also use custom formula variables and functions in the Ring (Holes) Table and Ring Summary Tables in reports, which support full dump convention calculations for tilt and dump scenarios.
3D View and Visualisation
Timing data can now be visualised directly in the 3D view, helping you better interpret and validate blast designs through spatial context.
Hole Export and Interaction
When exporting holes to file, you can now select individual holes and rings, giving you greater control over which data to export and reducing the need for post-processing.
File Support and Configuration
Aegis now supports import and export of DMX files, expanding compatibility with other Datamine tools. Additionally, block model import has been optimised by switching the internal .dat file storage type to a Dictionary structure.
User Interface Improvements
A new exit button has been added to the landing form, offering a simple and quick way to close the application. URLs throughout the software have also been updated to direct to the Datamine documentation website, ensuring you always have access to the latest information.
Drilling and Pivots
Wall line alignment has been improved by correcting how fixed pivots behave, ensuring more accurate drilling configurations in your designs.
