Add Layers

The Add Layers button opens the Layer Manager window. This is the layer controller in Amine to select layers and add them into your drawing. Layer configuration varies by site configuration.

Activity Steps

1. On the Common Tab, in the Manager group, click Add Layers.

   The Manager - Add Layer dialog box displays all layers that match the default filters.

2. Update the filters for the layer manager.

   1. Select whether to Load Empty Layers. If checked, layers with no data are included. If unchecked, only the layers with an attributed drawing or that contain data are loaded.

   2. Select whether to Show Code. If checked, the Code column displays where available for the layers.

   3. Select whether to Show Category. If checked, the Category column displays where available for the layers.

   4. Select statuses in the Filter by Status if required. Click the lightning bolt icon to apply this filter.

   5. Select a mine at your site in Mine Name if required. Click the lightning bolt icon to apply this filter.

   6. Select whether to Apply Filter Levels by Mine Name.

   7. To automatically select layers based on important subjects, select Predefined Group. For example, an End of Month predefined group contains specific layers used for end-of-month measuring purposes such as some survey and planning data, but not ventilation or scheduling data.

   8. Select whether to Show D3 Filter. If checked and the D3 filter options have been configured, the D3 Filter field group displays below the layers list.

   9. If Show D3 Filter is checked and D3 filtering options have been configured:

      1. Select whether to Show Active layers. If checked, inactive layers are hidden.

      2. Enter Search Text if required. Click the lightning bolt icon to apply this filter.

      3. Enter a Description Filter if required. Click the lightning bolt icon to apply this filter.

3. Selection combinations in the Layers area to select the required layers.

   You can select multiple layers. Press and hold Shift to select consecutive layers or Ctrl to select non-consecutive layers.

4. Click Add.

   Added layers display in the bottom grid.

5. To remove one or more layers from the selection:

   1. Select the layer(s) in the bottom grid.

   2. Click Remove Selected.

6. To remove all added layers from the selection, click Remove All.
7. Click OK to display the selected layers into your drawing.
8. Click Cancel to close the dialog and not load any drawings.
