D-Code Sequencer

The D-Code Sequencer tool is found in the DBConfig Amine Manager Database Management software. This tool allows you to define a layer parameters to automatically generate D-code layers according to your preferred structure.

Important: Only approved site Administrators are to perform the following steps. It is recommended to contact your Amine consultant before proceeding.

Important: If this is for Auto-Mapping Sections, an Information layer must be created in order for Amine to appropriately place the section layers. It is recommended to contact your Amine consultant before proceeding.

Activity Steps

  1. Navigate to and open the DBConfig tool. This opens the Amine Manager Database Management software.

  2. On the Drawing Layer Setup tab, mid-screen, you find the D-Code layer editors.

    1. By default, 3 D-codes are available. To active the fourth D-code, D4, select View at the top of the window, and select Show D4.

  3. At each D-Code editor, find the sequencing button found beside the Delete button. This opens the Auto-Sequencing dialogue.

  4. To generate sequenced layers:

    1. Enter a Prefix.

    2. Enter a Suffix.

    3. Choose a Format, which is the length of numerical characters for your section layer.

    4. Choose what number to Start your sequence with.

    5. Choose what number to End your sequence with.

    6. Choose your Increment step.

  5. Click OK to generate the sequenced layer numbers.

  6. Click Cancel to exit the dialogue.
