Quick-Merge Polylines

Merge new survey geometry to existing data.

Activity Steps

1. If multiple levels are present, begin by choosing a level to merge new data into.

   1. In the Layer Properties Manager, select all data sets for all the levels you wish to hide. Select multiple layers with Shift.

   2. Click on the Light Bulb in the On column to hide the unwanted layers.

   3. Repeat A and B to show the hidden layers.

2. When the data you wish to merge is showing in the 3D viewer, on the Survey Tab, in the 3D Polyline group, select Merge, or type the command SRV_JoinPoly.

3. Select the existing dataset.

4. Select the newly imported dataset.

5. Repeat step 1 to 4 for all other level datasets.

6. All strings are recognized their appropriate layers and merge automatically.

7. In the 3D Polyline group, there are tools to adjust your dataset if adjustments are required.

8. Click Save Layers.
