Add Custom Fields
Custom labels are used to modify sample names to align with the format of the result output file. A common use case for custom labels is when there are multiple QC samples of the same type. To ensure accurate matching, it is necessary to differentiate between them. Adding a custom label to modify the sample ID allows each QC sample to be uniquely identified and ensures precise alignment with the corresponding results. This is particularly important when the By Text Value option is selected in the Auto Match Analyte and Auto Match Samples categories within the Configure an Import Template activity.
