Add a Reference Material Type

In the AssayNet LIMS, a reference material type is used to categorize the nature of the standard, such as an internal standard or certified reference material. This classification aids in efficiently organizing and managing reference materials. The type can also be used as a filter to quickly locate and select the appropriate reference material; for example, when creating templates with the reference materials.

Activity Steps

1. On the QC / QA ribbon tab, click Ref. Material Types.

   The Calibration Standard Types screen displays.

2. Click New.

3. Enter a Standard Type; for example, internal standard.

4. Click OK.
