Protect or expose fields using application defaults

To protect application defaults:

1. Access the required application or program.
2. Enter the default data in the required fields.
3. Right-click in the text box of the field to protect.
4. Select Protect.
5. Click Personalisation access and select Defaults » Save from the accessed application.
6. Select the Scope of the default—Save for User, Save for Role, Save for Laboratory or Save for System.

To expose application defaults:

1. Access the required application or program.
2. Right-click in the text box of the field to expose.
3. Select Unprotect.
4. Click Personalisation access and select Defaults » Save from the accessed application.
5. Select the Scope of the default—Save for User, Save for Role, Save for Laboratory or Save for System.
