Process of Registration by ERS

An electronic request sheet (ERS) is an electronic request for job and sample registration for analytical tests, providing file-based registration.

Job creation from an ERS uses an extendible mechanism to transcribe the job data into CCLAS. Script is used to read electronic request sheets and create jobs and samples after which the job can be maintained as a regular production job.

To create jobs from ERS, an ERS Code is selected when creating a new job CCREGN—Job, provided that the registration mode is set to New Job by ERS.
