Copy, cut or paste content in workbook cells

  1. Open a workbook session in normal mode to display the CCWKOP—Workbook Open Detail screen or in transposed mode to display the CCWKOP—Workbook Open Transposed Detail screen.
  2. To copy both workbook cell formulas and values (not applicable for dilution mode):
    1. Select cells to have their formulas and values copied.
    2. Press Ctrl+C.

      Note: When a workbook is opened in dilution mode, then pressing Ctrl+C operates as Ctrl+Shift+C since only values can be copied.

  3. To copy workbook cell formulas only (not applicable for dilution mode):
    1. Select cells to have their formulas copied.
    2. Access the Copy Cell Formulas native workbook command (accessed via a workbook menu).
  4. To copy workbook cell values only:
    1. Select cells to have their values copied.
    2. Access the Copy Cell Values native workbook command (accessed via a workbook menu) or press Ctrl+Shift+C.
  5. To cut both workbook cell formulas and values (not applicable for dilution mode):
    1. Select cells to have their formulas and values cut.
    2. Press Ctrl+X.

      Note: When a workbook is opened in dilution mode, then pressing Ctrl+X operates as Ctrl+Shift+X sinces only values can be cut.

  6. To cut workbook cell formulas only (not applicable for dilution mode):
    1. Select cells to have their formulas cut.
    2. Access the Cut Cell Formulas native workbook command (accessed via a workbook menu).
  7. To cut workbook cell values only:
    1. Select cells to have their values cut.
    2. Access the Cut Cell Values native workbook command (accessed via a workbook menu) or press Ctrl+Shift+X.
  8. To paste buffer content into workbook cells:
    1. Select the cell at which the paste is to start.
    2. Enter Ctrl-V.
