Use a report request as a template to generate instrument run lists

To flag a report request as a template report request for instrument run list generation:

1. Access the CCRPTR—Report Request application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCRPTR—Search Report Request screen.
2. Select the Scope, Archive Status and Job Type search criteria on the Primary Criteria tab.
3. Open the required report request to display the CCRPTR—Report Request Detail screen.
4. Select Is Template to flag the target report request as a template report request.
5. Select the Instrument Code.
6. Click Submit.

To create a report request from a template report request:

1. Access the CCRPTR—Report Request application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCRPTR—Search Report Request screen.
2. Select the Is Template, Scope, Archive Status and Job Type search criteria on the Primary Criteria tab.
3. Enter other relevant search criteria and click Search. (All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.)
4. Click Create from Template. to display the Create from Template dialog box.
5. Select the Source Report Request Code to determine the source report request. This can be filtered by first selecting the Category and/or Report Request Type.
6. Enter the Target Report Request Name or select the Target Report Request Name Syntax to specify the naming of the target report request.
7. Click OK.
