Specification Status Codes for Primary Specification Assessment

The primary specification status for the results of sample scheme analyte (SSA) analysis may be one of:

• Not Tested—Indicates that the sample scheme analyte is not assessed due to it having no result as yet.
• Not Required - Indicates that assessment was not required for the sample scheme analyte. This may be due to the QC not being active for the scheme version analyte, or it was not the correct analytical type of sample, or specification limits are not found.
• Pass - Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte are within acceptable specification limits (an allowable percentage difference) for the primary specification.
• Ignore Lower Failure—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a lower failure, and that lower failure was subsequently ignored by the operator.
• Ignore Upper Failure - Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as an upper failure, and that upper failure was subsequently ignored by the operator.
• Lower Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a lower warning.
• Upper Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as an upper warning.
• Lower Failure—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a lower failure.
• Upper Failure - Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as an upper failure.

The following statuses can only be set by a custom primary specification assessment script, but are usually not set as they have no real meaning for primary specification assessment:

• Ignore Lower Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a lower warning, and that lower warning was subsequently ignored by the operator (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as warnings are not usually not ignored and are treated as a pass for primary specification assessment).
• Ignore Upper Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as an upper warning, and that upper warning was subsequently ignored by the operator (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as warnings are not usually not ignored and are treated as a pass for primary specification assessment).
• Ignore Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte are outside warning limits (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment), and that warning was subsequently ignored by the operator.
• Ignore Failure—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte are outside failure limits (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment), and that failure was subsequently ignored by the operator.
• Ignore Trend Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a trend warning (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment), and that trend warning was subsequently ignored by the operator.
• Ignore Trend Failure—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a trend failure (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment), and that trend failure was subsequently ignored by the operator.
• Warning —Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte are outside warning limits (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment).
• Failure —Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte are outside failure limits (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment).
• Trend Warning—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a trend warning (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment).
• Trend Failure—Indicates that the results for the sample scheme analyte were assessed as a trend failure (only possible via a custom primary specification assessment script, as not usually set for primary specification assessment).
