Setting Report Names and Descriptions for Tests in the Reportable Result Set

Overview

Whilst a scheme has Report Name and Report Description, it is the scheme version's Report Name and Report Description and the scheme version analyte's Report Name and Report Description that are used for reporting.

When a job scheme or job scheme analyte are created by the creation of a sample scheme or sample scheme analyte using a master scheme, a job scheme's Report Name and Report Description is populated from the scheme version, and a job scheme analyte's Report Name and Report Description is populated from the scheme version analyte. These fields can be updated on the job.

When Creating Report Requests from Job Report Stakeholders, a report request scheme's Report Name and Report Description is populated from the job scheme, regardless of whether they are empty or not, and a report request scheme analyte's Report Name and Report Description is populated from the job scheme analyte, regardless of whether they are empty or not. These fields can be updated on the report request.
