Set the USE_STD_TARGET_FOR_PERCENT_DIFFERENCE Preference
Use this activity to set the USE_STD_TARGET_FOR_PERCENT_DIFFERENCE application preference to have the system use either the standard specification scheme version analyte's Expected Value, or the average of the standard lot specification scheme version analyte's Expected Value and the standard's analytical result (which is the sample scheme analyte's Final Numeric Value for a blank or standard QC sample or the sample scheme analyte's Final Numeric Value less the spike original sample scheme analyte's Final Numeric Value for a spike QC sample), in the calculation of the percent difference from the standard.
The Scope for this preference is usually set at user level.
Activity Steps
- Access the CCPREF—Preference application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCPREF—Search Preference screen.
- Enter the Preference Name—USE_STD_TARGET_FOR_PERCENT_DIFFERENCE
- Click Submit.
- Open the preference with the lowest level of scope to display the CCPREF—Preference Detail screen.
- If Is System is checked, then:
- Uncheck Is System.
- Click Submit.
- Ensure that Setting Type is set to BOOLEAN.
- To have the system use the standard's target for the percentage difference calculation, check Setting Value.
- To have the system use the average of the standard's target and the standard's analytical result, uncheck Setting Value.
- Set the Preference Type to PREFERENCE.
- Ensure Is Active is checked.
- Click Submit.
- If Is System was initially checked, then:
- Check Is System.
- Click Submit.
