Maintaining Analytical Limits for a Specification for Standard Use
Specification limits are set up for scheme version analyte units so that when a result is received for a sample scheme analyte in a given internal unit, and the result undergoes standard assessment against the sample's standard lot's standard specification, then the result is compared against the matching specification limits.
When a new version of a scheme is created, the analytical limits for a scheme limit specification can be updated to use the new scheme version. Refer to Promoting Entities to Use a New Scheme Version.
