Export/Import of Container Types

Container Types are automatically included in distribution if:

• QC Masks are exported/imported: CCCONTAINERTYPE.ID = CCQCMASK.CONTAINER_TYPE_ID
• Schemes are exported/imported: CCCONTAINERTYPE.ID = CCSCHEME.CONTAINER_TYPE_ID

The following data is included when a Container Type record is exported/imported:

• All fields in the record, except for those specified as being cleared, and Creation User and Last Mod User which are cleared also.

  • Laboratory (should be empty anyway since only org-scope container types can be approved for export)

  • Purchase price item

  • Rental price item

• Specific links to other records are maintained, and the linked record is exported/imported if it does not already exist in the destination organisation.

  • Container type category, as Category record

  • Container name syntax, as Syntax record

  • Default size unit, as Unit record

• Related child or group member records are exported/imported.
• All related EFS files (for example, scripts, images) are exported/imported.
• All related custom attributes and related content are exported/imported.
• All related I18n records are exported/imported for all exported/imported records.
