Export/Import of Scheme Precursors

Scheme Precursors are automatically included in distribution if:

  • Schemes are exported/imported:

    CCSCHEMEPRECURSOR.SCHEME_ID = CCSCHEME.ID and

    CCSCHEMEPECURSOR.PRECURSOR_SCHEME_ID = CCSCHEME.ID

    That is, both records (the precursor and sequel scheme) must be included in the export/import for the inclusion of the intersection record.

If the Scheme record for the Scheme Precursor record already exists in the destination organisation, then the Scheme record is not re-imported, however any approved Scheme Version records is imported if they do not exist as yet in the destination organisation.

If the Scheme record for the Scheme Precursor record contains no approved scheme versions, then the Scheme record is imported as a scheme header only so that the precursor scheme relationship can be maintained in the destination organisation.

The following data is included when a Scheme Precursor record is exported/imported:

  • All fields in the record, except for those specified as being cleared, and Creation User and Last Mod User which are cleared also.
  • Specific links to other records are maintained, and the linked record is exported/imported if it does not already exist in the destination organisation.
    • Owning scheme, as Scheme record

    • Precursor scheme, as Scheme record

  • Related child or group member records are exported/imported.
  • All related EFS files (for example, scripts, images) are exported/imported.
  • All related custom attributes and related content are exported/imported.
  • All related I18n records are exported/imported for all exported/imported records.
