Conditions for Auto-validation of a Laboratory Batch Sample

When the cascade engine evaluates a sample's Validated Date, where:

• For the related job, the job's Job Type is Lab Batch,
• The sample's Workflow Status is Completed and the Validated Date is not stamped,
• The AUTO_VALIDATE_LAB_BATCH_SAMPLES application preference is:
  • Defined and is checked, then the sample's Validated Date is stamped.
  • Not defined, or is defined and is cleared, then the sample's Validated Date remains unstamped.
