Conditions for Forcing Manual Release of a Laboratory Batch Result

When a result is entered in the context of a laboratory batch job and there are no critical detection limit failures, such that, the cascade engine evaluates the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status as Analysed (and not Check), and the LAB_BATCH_MANUAL_RELEASE_RESULTS application preference is:

• Not defined, or is defined and selected, then the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status remains at Analysed, such that, the result needs manual release.
• Defined and is cleared, and the sample scheme analyte's Auto Release is selected, then the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is set to Released.
• Defined and is cleared, and the sample scheme analyte's Auto Release check box is cleared, then the sample scheme analyte Workflow Status remains at Analysed, such that, the result requires manual release.
