Conditions for Samples to undergo Accuracy Assessment
For a sample scheme analyte to undergo accuracy assessment and have its Standard Status set to Not Tested, the sample scheme analyte must not have a result, in which case its Workflow Status is Not Started or Repeat.
For a sample scheme analyte to undergo accuracy assessment and have its Standard Status set to Not Required, the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status must be Analysed or Check and at least one of the following conditions must be met:
- The sample scheme analyte's Data Type is something other than Numeric or Numeric Only (which means that the Numeric Final Value does not exist).
- Both the sample's Primary Analytical Type and Secondary Analytical Type are something other than Blank, Standard or Spike.
- The sample scheme analyte's QC Active check box is cleared.
- The sample's Standard Code does not link to an in-scope standard.
- The sample's Standard Lot Code does not link to an in-scope standard lot within the standard.
- The standard lot is expired.
- The standard lot's Specification Code does not associated with an in-scope specification.
- The specification scheme version analyte unit limits do not exist for the related scheme version analyte unit.
For a sample scheme analyte to undergo accuracy assessment and have its Standard Status set to either Pass, or one of the warning or failure statuses, the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status must be Analysed or Check (that is, even if the result exceeds a critical detection limit, accuracy assessment still takes place) and all of the following conditions must be met:
- The sample scheme analyte's Data Type is Numeric and the result is actually numeric, or Numeric Only (which means that the Numeric Final Value exists).
- The sample's Primary Analytical Type or Secondary Analytical Type must be Blank, Standard or Spike.
- The sample scheme analyte's QC Active must be selected.
- The sample's Standard Code must link to an in-scope standard.
- The sample's Standard Lot Code must link to an in-scope standard lot within the standard.
- The standard lot must be not expired.
- The standard lot's Specification Code must associated with an in-scope specification.
- The specification scheme version analyte unit limits must exist for the related scheme version analyte unit.
