This application is launched from a job search in the CCREGN—Job application, and used for maintaining batch samples (actually maintains samples in any job scheme, whether a non-laboratory batch job or a laboratory batch job, however the batch de-linking only pertains to when a job scheme from a laboratory batch job is opened for sample maintenance).

- Submit—Validate and save the changes.
- Refresh—Reloads the original data. Any changes made since the last submit are lost.
- Search Samples—Click to search for samples based upon the entered criteria and display the output in the lower grid.

The code of the job to match when searching for samples, populated from the CCREGN—Job Registration Search application for the selected job. Display only.

The code of the scheme to match when searching for samples, selected from the associated job schemes.

Although the samples associated with job schemes from all types of jobs can be viewed in batch sample maintenance, de-linking of samples from a laboratory batch can only occur when a laboratory batch job is opened in batch sample maintenance.

Scheme Version Description
The description of the scheme version associated with the selected job scheme. Display only.
Samples Grid
The details of the samples contained within the batch. The fields on the grid can be edited, depending on workflow status and user permissions, on the appropriate update screen. This is done by opening the sample to access the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen.

Grid flows
- Export to Report—Report selected records from the search display grid. The report templates are specified using the SEARCH_REPORT_<ApplicationName> application preference.
- Delink Samples—Remove the each sample scheme analyte's Lab Batch Job Code and Lab Batch Sample Code for all selected laboratory batch samples, effectively removing those sample scheme analytes from any laboratory batch job. Note that this option is only applicable when a laboratory batch job is opened.

Primary Sample Code
The code of the sample within the selected job. For a laboratory batch job, this is the laboratory batch sample. For a production job, this is the production sample. Display only.

Primary Analytical Type
The primary analytical type of the sample within the selected job. For a laboratory batch job, this is the laboratory batch sample. For a production job, this is the production sample

Primary Job Name
The name of the selected job. Display only.

Primary Client Sample Name
