Fields

• Analytical Type

  The type of QC sample to be created from the selected original samples: Duplicate or Replicate.

• QC Type

  The QC type of the QC sample to be created. Selected from active QC types that have a matching Analytical Type.

• Quantity to Add

  The number of duplicate or replicate QC samples to be created. Defaults to 1. Quantity must be >= 1.

• Request Repeat

  Indicates whether the results are cleared from the original sample for the current job scheme and all linked schemes and sequel schemes, and their Workflow Status set to Repeat instead of to Not Started.

  When a duplicate QC sample is created for a sample, then it is registered for all schemes on the sample, and when a replicate QC sample is created for a sample, then it is registered only for the specific scheme and any schemes linked to that sample scheme.

• QC Placement

  This is the position of the QC sample relative to the selected sample:

  • Immediately After—The QC sample is placed immediately after the selected sample.

  • End—The QC sample is placed at the end of all samples in the job.
