Fields

• Analytical Type

  The type of QC sample to be created from the selected original samples: Spike.

• QC Type

  The QC type of the QC sample to be created. Selected from active QC types that have a matching Analytical Type.

• QC Standard

  The standard associated with the new spike samples. Selected from active but not-expired standards that have a Standard Type of Standard or Spike, depending on the ALLOW_STANDARDS_AS_SPIKES application preference, that have active standard lots that are associated with a specification that has limits pertaining to the current scheme.

• QC Standard Lot

  The standard lot associated with the new spike samples. Selected from active standard lots within the standard that have a specification containing limits for the scheme version.

• Number to Apply

  The number of spike QC samples to be created. Defaults to 1. Quantity must be >= 1.

• Secondary QC Type Code

  The secondary QC type associated with each created QC sample where the multiple QC samples are to be associated with each other for precision assessment, such that each subsequent created QC sample has a Secondary Analytical Type of Duplicate or Replicate, as determined by the selected Secondary QC Type Code. Only applicable if Number to Apply > 1. Selected from active QC types that have a Linked QC Type matching the Primary Analytical Type of the QC sample.
