Screen flows

• Submit—Validate and save the changes.
• Refresh—Reload the original data. Any changes made since the last submit are lost.
• New—Create a new item related to the application.
• Save As—Create a new item based on the information provided by an existing item.
• Delete—Confirm and delete the current item.
• Open—Display a dialog box to enter an existing item to display its detail.
• New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.
• Activate—Activate the current item making it available for use.

• Suspend—Suspend the current entity making it unavailable for use.

• Deactivate—Deactivate the standard.

• Approve—Approve the standard for export so that they can be used globally by all laboratories. This updates a standard's Approve Date and user who has approved the entity. This action only applies to org-scope entities and is only valid for entities in the user’s current organisation.

• Unapprove—Reverse the approval of the standard that was previously approved for export. This clears a standard's Approved Date and user who previously approved the entity. This action only applies to org-scope entities, and is only valid for entities in the user’s current organisation.

Header

• Organisation Scope

  Indicates whether this entity is available organisation-wide or laboratory-wide.

  • Checked—The entity is available to users who are logged into any laboratory within the organisation.
  • Unchecked—The entity is only available to users who are logged into the current laboratory.

  Setting the standard's scope upon successful creation depends upon the user's security level for the CCSTANDARD:CREATE resource. The possible security levels for the resource, from greater scope to lower scope, are:

  • full—full
  • 3—LAB AND ORG
  • 2—ORG ONLY
  • 1—LAB ONLY

  A user can have multiple roles, and each role can contain different rights. Any of these role-right combinations may contain the resource.

  If the resource does not exist across all role-right combinations for the user, then the user has no access to the resource. Otherwise the user's security level for the resource is determined as the greatest scope across all role-right combinations for the user. For example, if a user has Role1 that contains RightA, and Right A contains security level 2 for the resource, and the same user has Role2 that contains RightB, and RightB contains security level 1 for the resource, then the user has a security level of 2 for the resource.

  The selection in this field can determine the visibility for other fields in this form, and the content of various drop-down selection lists.

• Organisation Code

  The code of the owning organisation.

• Standard Code

  The unique code assigned to the standard.

• Name

  The name of the entity. Maximum length of 200 characters. Multi-language support.

• Description

  The description of the entity. Maximum length of 400 characters. Multi-language support.

• Standard Category

  A category assigned to the standard. Selected from categories with a Category Type of STANDARDS.

• Status

  The status of the standard. Display only. This can be:

  • Draft—The standard is under development.

  • Published—An org-scope standard is ready for linking from blank, standard and spike QC mask members and from samples that have a Primary QC Type or Secondary QC Type of Blank, Standard or Spike.

  • Suspended—The standard is no longer available for use.

• QC Type

  The type of QC material to denote the use of the standard:

  • Standard—For use with QC mask standard members and standard QC samples.

  • Blank—For use with QC mask blank members and blank QC samples.

  • Spike—For use with QC mask spike members and spike QC samples, unless the ALLOW_STANDARDS_AS_SPIKES application preference is checked, in which case, the spike type standard can be used for standard QC mask members and standard QC samples.

• Status Changed Date

  The date-time at which the last change was made to the status of the entity. Display only.

• Status Changed by User Code

  The code of the user who changed the status. Display only.

• Status Changed Reason

  The reason for the change in status. Display only.

• Chemical Name

  The chemical name of the standard material.

• Manufacturer

  The manufacturer of the standard material.

• Barcode Number

  The barcode number of the standard.

• Current Standard Lot

  The standard lot currently in use. In the case of a newly created standard, one standard lot is created with a standard lot number that defaults to the standard code.

  A current standard lot is mandatory for a standard to be associated with a blank, standard or spike QC sample.

• Document

  Documents can be uploaded, downloaded and removed from this entity. The additional documents can be used for a variety of purposes, for example:

  • Linking additional documentation to an entity, such as a client, contact or project.

  • Reporting additional details about the entity.

• Image

  A logo can be uploaded, downloaded or removed from the entity.

• Approved Date

  The date-time at which the org-scope standard was approved for export. Only relevant where the Organisation Scope is selected. Display only.

• Approved By

  The name of the user who approved the org-scope standard for export. Only relevant where the Organisation Scope is selected. Display only.

• Standard Script

  The code of the script run during a standard assessment to perform custom assessment based on the standard. A script may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active scripts in scope with a Script Type of Standard, as configured in the CCSCRT—Script application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCSCRT—Search Script screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Lot Specifications Tab

The standard lots associated with the standard.

• Grid flows:

  • Create Standard Lot—Create a new standard lot for the standard.

• Lot Code

  The unique code assigned to the entity.

• Lot Number

  The number associated with the standard lot.

• Name

  The name of the entity. Maximum length of 200 characters. Multi-language support.

• Is Active

  The status of the standard lot. Display only. This can be:

  • Draft—The standard lot is under development.

  • Published—The standard lot is ready for use by the laboratories in scope, for linking from blank, standard and spike QC mask members, or in samples with a primary or secondary QC type of blank, standard or spike.

  • Suspended—The standard lot is no longer available for use.

• Description The description of the entity. Maximum length of 400 characters. Multi-language support.

• Expiry Date

  the date-time at which the standard lot is expired. If the current system date-time is later than the Expiry Date, then the standard lot cannot be associated with a blank, standard or spike QC sample.

• Current Level

  The amount of standard lot in stock.

• Reorder Level

  The amount of standard lot in stock at which it should be reordered.

• Location Code

  The code of the location associated with the standard lot. A location may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active locations in scope, as configured in the CCLCTN—Location application. Each location's hierarchy precedes its location code. The list is filterable using % and _ wildcard characters. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCLCTN—Search Location screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Specification Code

  The specification associated with the standard lot to allow results to be assessed against the specification's limits and set the sample scheme analyte's Standard Status. A specification may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active specifications in scope with a Specification Type of Standard, as configured in the CCSPFN—Specification application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCSPFN—Search Specification screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

• Name

  The name of the specification.

• Description

  The description of the specification.

Hazards Tab

The hazards associated with the standard.

• Grid flows:

  • Look Up CCHZRD—Open the CCHZRD—Hazard Search screen to perform a search.

• Hazard Code

  The code of a hazard associated with the standard.

• Hazard Category

  A category assigned to the specification hazard. Selected from categories with a Category Type of HAZARDS.

• Name

  The name of the hazard.

• Description

  The description of the hazard.

• Hazard Description

  The description of the hazard in context of the standard.

• Is Active

  Indicates whether the hazard is active for the standard.
