Processes associated with this form
Screen flows
- Submit—Validate and save the changes.
- Refresh—Reloads the original data. Any changes made since the last submit are lost.
- New—Create a new item related to the application.
- Save As—Creates a new item based on the information provided by an existing item.
- Delete—Confirm and delete the current item.
- Open—Display a dialog box to enter an existing item to display its detail.
- New Search—Return to the Search screen and clear the search results and the search criteria.

User Code
The unique code assigned to user.

User Principal Name

The principal name used for AAD authentication.

Name
The name of the user. Maximum length of 200 characters. Multi-language support.

Active Status
A text description of the user's status.

Is Active
Indicates whether the entity is available in drop-down lists. An inactive entity cannot be selected for use.

Photo
A file containing a photograph of the user.

Menu Name
The menu used by the user for a CCLAS session. A menu may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active QC menus in scope, as configured in the MSE025—Modify Menu application. Click the field hyperlink to display the MSE025—Modify Menu application screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Signature
A signature can be uploaded, downloaded or removed from the user.
Name Details Tab
The details of the user's name.

Salutation
The salutation for the user. A salutation may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active salutations from System Table Codes with a Table Type of CC01—Salutation, as configured in the MSETBL—Table Code Service application.

First Name
The first name of the user.

Middle Name
The middle name of the user.

Last Name
The last name of the user.

Full Name
The full name of the user. If this field is left empty upon create, it is populated with First Name + space + Last Name.
Contact Details Tab
The contact details for the user.

Email
The email address for the user. Maximum length of 260 characters.

IM
The instant message details for the user.

Telephone
The telephone number for the user.

Mobile
The mobile number for the user.

Pager
The pager details for the user.

Fax
The fax number for the user.
Address Tab
The address details for the user.

Is Active
Indicates whether the entity is available in drop-down lists when selecting a category for an entity. An inactive entity cannot be selected for use.

Address
The address details. Lines can be left empty. Where possible, it is best to consistently use the same lines for the same type of address information (for example, Suite or level numbers, post office box numbers, street name).

City
The name of the city.

County
The name of the county.

State
The name of the state.

Province
The name of the province.

Postcode
The postcode or ZIP code.

Country Code
The code of the country (or territory). A code may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active country codes from System Table Codes with a Table Type of CR—Country Code, as configured in the MSETBL—Table Code Service application.
Work Details Tab
The work details for the user.

Position Title
The title of the position in which the user is employed.

Department
The department in which the user is employed.

Manager User Code
The user who is the line manager of the user. A user may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active users in scope, as configured in the CCUSER—User application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCUSER—Search User screen,select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.
Signatory Tab
The text signatory for the user, for reports or letters.

Signatory Text
The text accompanying the user's signature.
Security Tab
The security details for the user, to allow them to access the system.

Suspend Roles—Suspend the selected roles for the given scope.

Unsuspend Roles—Un-suspend the selected roles for the given scope.
Note: The suspend service works for all roles except SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR. This role cannot be suspended. If a user attempts to unsuspend a role by using the Unsuspend Roles service, the system will check if the user code being modified still has a valid licence before completing the task. If not, then the role remains suspended for the user. Please check with your administrator if this happens. Please see the Licencing topic under Maintaining Users for more information.

Role Name
The role denoting the security permissions for the user when logged into the laboratory defined by the Scope. A role may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active roles, as configured in the MSESEC—Security application. Click the field hyperlink to display the MSESEC—Search Security screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return, to populate the field with the selected value.

Scope
The laboratory the user can log in to to run CCLAS. An instance laboratory may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active laboratories where the Laboratory Type is Instance. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCLBRT—Search Laboratory screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.

Suspended
Indicates whether the user is suspended for the given role.
Languages Tab
The active languages for the user. The list of languages is taken from the MSESYS.Config.MultiValuedI18Nsetting system user preference, visible in the MSEPRF—User Preferences application as a text field containing the active system languages for the user, and visible in the MSESYS—System Preferences application for the user (however, since this application allows any text to be entered as the preference value, care must be taken when setting it up this way).
Active system languages for a laboratory are configured by the activating system languages process.

Activated For User
Indicates whether the language is active for the user, such that, any when entering content into multi-lingual fields, only the user's active languages are available.

Activated
Indicates whether the language is active for use by the system. Display only.

Locale
The locale available in the system. A locale is associated with a particular language and region where that version of the language is spoken. An example is FR-CN where the language is French in the regional variation for Canada. Display only.

Language
the description of the display language and any variations associated with the locale. For example, Simplified Chinese. Display only.
