Header
-
Text Displayed
The actual text displayed to the user when the menu is used. This field must have a value, but it does not have to be unique. When the user enters a new value, it is saved under the current browser's language. This field is mandatory.
-
Application Code
The application that is opened when this menu is selected. This may also be a link to an external web page.
Note: If a menu node has lower level nodes, it should not have an application code.
-
Description
The description of the application based on the Application Code.
-
Global Menu Name
The name of the root node to denote the use of the node and its sub-nodes. Only a root menu node should be given a menu name.
If a new menu hierarchy is created with several sub-node layers, to associate the menu with a user in the CCUSER—User application, then the root node must have a menu name.
Note: This field only displays after a menu is promoted to a global menu.
-
Parameter Name
The list of parameters supplied to launch the external application, for example, a web address URL. In this situation, Application Code should be set to IFRAME.
-
Default Value
The default value for the parameter when the external application launches. This is usually a web address URL.
