  3. Select the Sample Criteria tab and set Sample Name to the production/internal job's name, and enter a percentage (%) wildcard at the end (on the premise that the sample name includes the production or internal job name, for example, PRODJOB-00505%), or enter any other sample criteria to locate an production or internal sample.

  4. Click Submit to display the related laboratory batch jobs.

Note: All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.

  5. Click the Retrieve all records grid flow option to ensure all related laboratory batch jobs are returned.

  6. Either, for each laboratory batch job, delete the related laboratory batch samples:

    1. Open the laboratory batch job to display the CCREGN—Job Detail screen.

    2. Select the Samples tab to display the laboratory batch samples.

    3. Open the relevant laboratory batch sample to display the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen.

    5. Expand the scheme rows to view the analytes, if required.
    6. Check the selection check box on scheme or analyte rows.
    7. Click Remove Scheme or Remove Analyte grid flows, as required.
    8. Locate and mark the relevant laboratory batch samples for deletion.

    9. Click Submit.

  7. Or, for each laboratory batch job, just remove the links from the production/internal sample scheme analytes to the laboratory batch job and samples:

    1. For the laboratory batch job, select the Open Batch Sample Maintenance row flow option to display the CCBTSM—Batch Sample Maintenance Detail screen.

    2. Click Search Samples to display the laboratory batch samples.

    3. Click the Retrieve all records grid flow option to ensure all laboratory batch samples are returned so that the particular sample is included in the search result set.

Note: Apply an optional grid column filter to only display the sample that is deleted.

    4. Locate and select the relevant laboratory batch samples.

    5. Click Delink Samples.
