Maintain sample tests
To view tests on an interim sample associated with a sample group:

Continue adding a group of samples to a job on the CCSAMP—Update Sample screen.
- Select the Tests tab to display sample schemes currently registered on the sample in the top grid and a scheme search in the bottom grid.
To view tests on a single or multiple samples in a job:
- Access the CCREGN—Job application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCREGN—Search Job screen.

Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display jobs that match the criteria.
Note: All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.

Open the required job to display the CCREGN—Job Detail screen.

Select the Samples tab to display job samples.
- Either open a sample to display the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen, or select the samples to be updated and click Update Multiple Samples to display the CCSAMPMULTIEDIT—Multiple Sample Detail screen.
- Select the Tests tab to display sample schemes currently registered on the sample in the top grid and a scheme search in the bottom grid.
To view tests on a single sample from a sample search:

Access the CCSAMP—Sample application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCSAMP—Search Sample screen.

Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display jobs that match the criteria.
Note: All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.

Open the required sample to display the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen.
- Select the Tests tab to display sample schemes currently registered on the sample in the top grid and a scheme search in the bottom grid.
To view analytes registered within a sample scheme:
- View tests on the sample to display the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen Tests tab.
- Click the
Collapsed icon to expand the scheme row to display the registered sample scheme analytes.
To search for and add tests to a sample:

View tests on the sample to display the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen Tests tab.

Select the Filter Option as to filter schemes by the search criteria, or filter schemes and analytes by the search criteria.

Click Search Schemes to display tests that match the criteria where the scheme, and if it has analytes, then the scheme and all of its analytes, are registered on the sample.

To add a single scheme and its mandatory analytes, click Add Scheme with Mandatory Analytes on the row containing the scheme.
-
To add a single scheme and all its analytes, click Add Entire Scheme on the row containing the scheme.
-
To add selected schemes and all of their analytes, select one or more schemes and click the Add Scheme(s) grid flow.

To add selected schemes and their mandatory analytes, select one or more schemes and click the Add Scheme(s) With Mandatory analytes grid flow.

To add selected analytes, click the
Collapsed icon to expand the scheme row, select one or more analytes, and click the Add Analytes grid flow.The added schemes and analytes display in the upper panel.

Click Submit to add the tests to the sample.
An error is returned if an attempt is made to add scheme version analytes to a sample scheme that is linked to a more recent scheme version since there may be analytes in a later scheme version that are not available in an earlier scheme version associated with the sample scheme

Return to the CCREGN—Job Detail screen and click Refresh.
To add tests that exist on some samples to all samples in a multiple sample update:
- Check Add To All on a scheme row to apply a sample scheme to all samples in the multiple sample update.
- Check Add To All on an analyte row to apply a sample scheme analyte to all samples in the multiple sample update.
To delete tests from a sample:

View tests on the sample to display the CCSAMP—Update Sample screen Tests tab.
- Click the
Collapsed icon to expand the scheme row and display the registered analytes, if required. - Select the schemes and/or analytes to be deleted.
- Click the Remove Scheme or Remove Analyte grid flow, as required, to delete the sample scheme or sample scheme analyte from the sample. Click Remove Scheme with Related QC to the unknown sample if the objective is to remove child QCs like replicates, duplicates, spikes.
Note: If Remove Scheme with Related QC is selected, user has the option to also remove the QC sample altogether if the said QC sample has no more schemes attached to it.
To delete tests from multiple samples:

View tests on multiple samples to display the CCSAMPMULTIEDIT—Multiple Sample Detail screen Tests tab.
- Click the
Collapsed icon to expand a scheme row and display the registered analytes, if required. - Check the selection check box on scheme or analyte rows.
- Click Remove Scheme from all Samples or Remove Analyte from all Samples grid flows, as required, to delete the sample scheme or analyte from all samples in the multiple sample update.
- Click Remove Scheme with Related QC to the unknown sample if the objective is to remove child QCs like replicates, duplicates, spikes.
Note: If Remove Scheme with Related QC is selected, user has the option to also remove the QC sample altogether if the said QC sample has no more schemes attached to it.
To update a sample scheme:

View tests on the sample to display the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen Tests tab.

Open the required sample scheme to display the CCREGNSMPLSCH—Sample Scheme Detail screen.
Note: Some entities can be updated on the tests grid for a sample on the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen Tests tab. Whilst a multiple sample update offers efficiency in updating sample tests, not all entities are available for update on tests grid on the CCSAMPMULTIEDIT—Multiple Sample Detail screen Tests tab.

To update primary details:

Select the Primary Details tab.

Select Subcontract Laboratory Code, as required.

Update Priority or Required On, as required. An update in Priority forces an update to Required On.

Select Precursor Scheme Code, as required.
-
Update Holding Time, as required.
-
Select Scheme Script, as required.
-
Select whether to Include in Job QC.
-
Select QC Mask Code, as required.
-
Select whether the sample scheme is Reportable.
-
Enter Report Sequence, as required.
-
Select whether the sample scheme is Invoiceable.
-
Enter the Internal Cost.

To enter sample scheme notes in a single sample update:

Update Analysis Notes and Report Notes.

Format entered text using the toolbar. HTML formatted text can be pasted from one CCLAS rich text notes field into another rich text notes field, such that, the formatting is preserved.

To insert a canned comment, click F2 to display the Select Canned Comment dialog box.

Select the default or another Canned Comment Type and Canned Comment Subtype.

Select an optional Category Code to filter the Canned Comment Code drop-down list by the selected category.

Enter or select Canned Comment Code from the drop-down list to embed the canned comment long form content into the note field. Note that Cancel can be clicked at any time to exit canned comment selection.

To specify a ready date when updating a tests on an interim sample associated with a sample group on the CCSAMP—Update Sample screen Tests tab or on the tests grid for a job on the CCSAMP—Sample Detail screen Tests tab.

Select Ready Date.

To specify scheme limits:

Select the Limits Specification tab.

Select Limit Specification Code.

To update linked scheme relationships between the sample schemes:

Select the Linked Schemes tab.

To add a linked sample scheme to the current sample scheme:
- Click
Add. The Linked From scheme is the current sample scheme. - Select the Linked To scheme on the sample.

To remove a linked sample scheme from the current sample scheme:
- Click
Delete at the beginning of the row containing the linked scheme.

To enter report header, report footer and results header text for a test in a single sample update:

Select the Report Header/Footer tab.

Update Report Header Text, Report Footer Text or Results Header Text.

Format entered text using the toolbar. HTML formatted text can be pasted from one CCLAS rich text notes field into another rich text notes field, such that, the formatting is preserved.

- Select Internal Upper DL Critical, as required, update Internal Upper DL, and select a Upper Template Sample Code, as required.

Select whether the sample scheme analyte is Reportable.

Enter Report Sequence, as required.

Select Report Unit Code, as required.

Update Report Lower DL and Report Upper DL, as required.

Select Rounding Table Code, as required.

Select whether the sample scheme analyte is Invoiceable.
