Apply sample gridding
To open the sample grid for a job from registration:
-
Search for jobs to display jobs that match the criteria in the CCREGN—Search Job screen.
- Select Open Sample Grid on the row containing the job to display the CCSGRD—Sample Grid Detail screen.
To open the sample grid for a job scheme from registration:
- Access the CCREGN—Job application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCREGN—Search Job screen.
-
Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display jobs that match the criteria.
Note: All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.
-
Open the required job to display the CCREGN—Job Detail screen.
-
Select the Tests tab to display job samples.
- Click Open Sample Grid on the row containing the job to display CCSGRD—Sample Grid Detail screen.
To open a sample grid from scratch:
-
Access the CCSGRD—Sample Grid application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCSGRD—Sample Grid Detail screen.
-
Select Job Name and optional Scheme Code of a job scheme and click Search Samples to display the sample grid in normal mode for the entire job, or for the selected job scheme.
To expand/collapse all job schemes in the sample grid:
- Either collapse the job scheme on the Scheme header row, or right-click and select Collapse All Schemes.
One column is displayed for each job scheme, or the selected job scheme. The sample grid cells are highlighted according to the sample scheme's Workflow Status.
- Either expand the job scheme on the Scheme header row, or right-click and select Expand All Schemes.
One column is displayed for each job scheme analyte. The sample grid cells are highlighted according to the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status.
To toggle the sample grid between normal and inverted mode:
- Right-click and select Toggle Mode.
The display toggles between normal and inverted mode.
To set to LNR:
- Select the relevant cells, right-click and select Set to LNR.
Although the cells are highlighted according to the selected status, and may be locked, these new statuses are not persisted until submit. When the cell is locked, new results cannot be entered into the cell, and specification or QC evaluation does not occur.
- Click Submit to save the changes to the sample grid. Changes are not saved where restrictions are applied.
If the job scheme is expanded, then the LNR is applied to each selected sample scheme analyte cell.
If the job scheme is collapsed, then the LNR is applied to all sample scheme analytes associated with the selected cell.
To set to IS, NA or NR:
- Select the relevant cells.
- Right-click and select Set to IS, or Set to NA or Set to NR.
If the job scheme is expanded, for each selected sample scheme analyte cell, given that the cell is not empty and has a registered sample scheme analyte in it, and that the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is something other than Listed Not Received, then the sample scheme analyte is set to Insufficient Sample, Not Analysed or No Result.
If the job scheme is collapsed, for all sample scheme analytes associated with the selected cell, given that the cell is not empty and has a registered sample scheme in it, and that the sample scheme's Workflow Status is something other than Listed Not Received, then each sample scheme analyte associated with the sample scheme is set to Insufficient Sample, Not Analysed or No Result.
To reset to Not Started:
- Select the relevant cells where the Workflow Status is Listed Not Received, Insufficient Sample, Not Analysed or No Result.
- Right-click and select Reset.
Although the cells are highlighted according to the selected status, and may be locked, these new statuses are not persisted until submit. When the cell is locked, new results cannot be entered into the cell, and specification or QC evaluation does not occur.
- Click Submit to save the changes to the sample grid. Changes are not save where restrictions are applied.
