Configure the original unknown sample for a duplicate, replicate or spike QC sample

To configure the original unknown sample for a duplicate QC sample:

  1. Access the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification Detail screen.
  2. Search for samples associated with a job scheme.
  3. Select a duplicate sample in the sample grid, and make the following update:
    • Dup Original Sample Code—Select the code of an unknown sample in the same job, from which the duplicate QC sample is made.
  4. Click Submit.

To configure the original unknown or duplicate QC sample for a replicate QC sample:

  1. Access the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification Detail screen.
  2. Search for samples associated with a job scheme.
  3. Select a replicate sample in the sample grid, and make the following update:
    • Dup Original Sample Code—Select the code of an unknown or duplicate sample in the same job, from which the replicate QC sample is made.
  4. Click Submit.

To update the QC details for a spike QC sample:

  1. Access the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification Detail screen.
  2. Search for samples associated with a job scheme.
  3. Select a spike sample in the sample grid, and make the following update:
    • Spike Original Sample Code—Select the original sample from which the spike QC sample is made.
  4. Click Submit.
