Access the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQCSM—QC Sample Modification Detail screen.
Search for samples associated with a job scheme.
Select an unknown sample in the sample grid, and make the following updates:
Secondary Analytical Type—Blank, Standard or Spike (If left as N/A, then the sample is assessed only on its primary analytical type of unknown.)
Secondary QC Type Code—Select a QC type from the list of active QC types relative to the selected Secondary Analytical Type.
If the Secondary Analytical Type is selected as Blank or Standard then make the following updates also:
Standard—Select a standard from the list of active but not-expired standards that have a Standard Type of Blank or Standard, respectively.
Standard Lot—Select a standard lot from the list of standard lots within the standard that have a specification containing limits for the scheme version.
If the Secondary Analytical Type is selected as Spike, then make the following updates also:
Standard—Select a standard from the list of active but not-expired standards that have a Standard Type of Spike, unless standards are allowed as spikes, as follows. Refer to Conditions for Allowing Standards as Spikes.
Standard Lot—Select a standard lot from the list of standard lots within the standard that have a specification containing limits for the scheme version.
Spike Original Sample Code—Select the original sample from which the spike QC sample is made.
