Create an internal report of results

  1. Create a report request of with a Report Type of Certificate using the CCRPTR—Report Request application.
  2. Select a Name Syntax Code.
  3. Select Report Type as Certificate.
  4. After submit, open the report request.

    The report request's Report Status Type is set to Internal.

  5. Add jobs to the report request.

    Search for jobs, and add their samples, schemes and analytes to the report request. Go back to the report request and refresh to see the added tests and samples.

  6. Create one or more reports within the report request.

    When a report is added to a report request, a Report Template Code with Report Type of Certificate should be selected.

    It is sensible to use a report template which contains the words 'Internal Report' to make it obvious that the report should not be distributed externally.

  7. Update the report's Language, as required. Language defaults to that defined by the DEFAULT_REPORT_LANGUAGE application preference.
  8. If the Email is selected, the generated report is included in the email.
  9. If the Copy To Folder is selected, enter the File Name or Filename Syntax Code.
  10. Ensure that reports to be included in report generation have Reportable selected.
  11. Configure a workbook script that contains calls to Report API methods and link it to a workbook menu, to produce the internal report seamlessly from a workbook menu option during a workbook session.
