Script Hook Points during Specification Assessment

The following script execution point exists during specification assessment, with the script being executed if it exists, that is:

The following scripts are run in the order in which they are described here:

  1. Specification Evaluation Script

If the specification has an Evaluation Script then it is run immediately after the specification limit assessment, and can potentially change the outcome of that assessment.

  2. Product Script

If the sample has a Product Code, and the product has a Script Code, then it is run, and can potentially change the outcome of the assessment.

The script can change the outcome of a specification assessment, to override the sample scheme analyte specification's Specification Status.

Note that although a core specification assessment can potentially set the sample scheme analyte specification's Scheme Limit Status to Pass, Upper Warning, Lower Warning, Upper Failure or Lower Failure, a custom specification assessment using a script could potentially set the sample scheme analyte specification's Specification Status to Pass, Upper Warning, Lower Warning, Trend Warning, Warning, Upper Failure, Lower Failure, Trend Failure or Failure.
