Delete a QC History Discrete Observation

Use this activity to delete a QC history discrete observation.

Activity Steps

1. Access the CCQCHS—QC History Summary application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCQCHS—Search QC History Summary screen.
2. Select Group By firstly by Analytical Type and QC Type or Analytical Type only, secondly by Standard and Lot or Standard only, and thirdly by Scheme and Version or Scheme only.
   • Conditions for Allowing Standards as Spikes
3. Enter other search criteria, as required, and click Submit. (All codes, enumerations and Job Name fields are case-sensitive for searching.)

   QC history summaries that match the criteria display in the grid.

4. Open the required QC history summary to display the CCQCHS—QC History Summary Detail screen.
5. Click Delete.

   The Confirm Delete dialog box displays prompting you to confirm deletion.

6. Click Confirm.

   The QC history discrete observation is deleted.

Restrictions on Deleting a QC History Discrete Observation

Given that the ALLOW_QC_HISTORY_RECORD_DELETE application preference is defined and selected, when you attempt to delete a QC History Discrete Observation, then the action proceeds.
Given that the ALLOW_QC_HISTORY_RECORD_DELETE preference is not defined, or is defined and is not checked, when you attempt to delete a QC History Discrete Observation, then the action does not proceed.
