Set the BLOCK_FORMULA_UPDATE application preference

1. Access the CCPREF—Preference application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCPREF—Search Preference screen.
2. Enter the Preference Name—BLOCK_FORMULA_UPDATE
3. Click Submit.
4. Open the preference with the lowest level of scope to display the CCPREF—Preference Detail screen.
5. If Is System is selected, then clear it and click Submit.
6. Ensure that Setting Type is set to STRING.
7. To enable blocking of formula calculation in all of the workbook cells (SSAs) that have a Released and/or Completed workflow status, then enter RELEASED, COMPLETED to the preference value.
8. To disable the blocking of formula calculation, then leave the value empty or delete the preference.
9. Set the Preference Type to PREFERENCE.
10. Ensure Is Active is selected.
11. Click Submit.
12. If Is System was initially selected, then ensure it is reselected and click Submit.
