Set the CALCULATE_FROM_READINGS application preference

1. Access the CCPREF—Preference application from the main menu or quick launch to display the CCPREF—Search Preference screen.
2. Enter the Preference Name—AUTO_PAPERWORK_TEMPLATES
3. Click Submit.
4. Open the preference with the lowest level of scope to display the CCPREF—Preference Detail screen.
5. If Is System is selected, then clear it and click Submit.
6. Ensure that Setting Type is set to STRING.
7. Enter the Setting Value—For example: AVG_READINGS

   When the Readings Calculation grid flow option is selected from the readings grid in the lower panel in the CCWKOP—Open Workbook application, or the AVERAGE in-built Workbook command is executed from the right-click menu, and the Groovy code within the script contains the calculateReading function, then it is run to calculate a new reading from selected readings, the reading which then becomes the result of the sample scheme analyte.

8. Set the Preference Type to PREFERENCE.
9. Ensure Is Active is selected.
10. Click Submit.
11. If Is System was initially selected, then ensure it is reselected and click Submit.
