Batch Queue and Scheduler Setup and Maintenance
Audience: System administrators, expert users, implementers, and administrators.
This section contains information regarding the system batch queue and scheduler, including:
- Configuring the system batch queue—A user can interact with CCLAS in real-time. However, it is frustrating to wait for time-consuming processes to execute. For this reason, various processes are submitted to the system batch queue for execution in the background. Typically, these processes include report generation and clean-up operations.
- Maintaining batch job executions
- Maintaining schedules—Various tasks are scheduled on the system scheduler to run at appointed times. The task scheduler is used to submit recurring jobs to the system batch queue on a regular basis.
