Abandon/Restart/Stop a batch job execution

  1. Access the MSEJEX—Job Execution application from the main menu or quick launch to display the MSEJEX—Search Job Execution screen.
  2. Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display job executions that match the criteria.
  3. Open the required job execution to display the MSEJEX—Job Execution Detail screen.

To stop a batch job execution:

  1. Click Stop.

    If the batch job is currently being executed then it is stopped temporarily.

To restart a batch job execution:

  1. Click Restart.

    If the batch job is currently stopped temporarily then it is restarted.

    When a batch job is executed on the batch queue, the Batch Server field displays which DNS server picked up the job.

To abandon a batch job execution:

  1. Click Abandon.

    If the batch job is currently being executed or is stopped temporarily then it is abandoned permanently.
