Maintain batch job executions

To search for batch job executions:

  1. Access the MSEJEX—Job Execution application from the main menu or quick launch to display the MSEJEX—Search Job Execution screen.
  2. Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display batch job executions that match the criteria.

To create a batch job execution, for those job types where it makes sense for them to be created manually:

  1. Click New to display the MSEJEX—Job Execution Detail screen.

  2. Select the Job Name.
  3. Select the Priority.
  4. Where the Job Name is selected as BATCHJOBCLEAN, then also specify the End time older than (days) and Regex matching job name parameters.

  5. Where the Job Name is selected as CCBLIBMANEXPORT, then also specify the Organisation Code and Export Path.

  6. Where the Job Name is selected as CCBLIBMANUPLOAD, then also specify the Upload URL.

  7. Where the Job Name is selected as CCSRCTEXEC, then also specify Organisation Code, Laboratory Code, Parameter 1—5, Watch File Name and Watch Folder Name. It is the responsibility of the script to load the file when it becomes available in the folder.
  8. Where the Job Name is specified as SCHEDULE_JOB_SAMPLE_RECOVERY_BY_JOB, then also specify the Organisation Code, Laboratory Code, Job Code and Future Event Sequence Number.

  9. Click Submit.

To review a batch job execution:

  1. Search for and open the batch job execution to display the MSEJEX—Job Execution Detail screen.

    Where the Job Name is CCBATCHJOBCLEAN, then the End time older than (days) and Regex matching job name parameters display.

    Where the Job Name is CCBEMAIL, then the following details display:

    • Emailing requirements: Email From, Email To, Email Cc, Email Bcc, Subject and Email Content.

    • Email attachment details:File Group, File Id and Nothing To Send.

    • Report request or invoice details: Rep Rep Id, Inv No and Org Code.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINP, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority.

    • Identify of the instrument upload: Id.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINS, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINVC, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority and Status.

    • Invoice generation: Organisation Code, Laboratory Code, Primary Invoice Number and All Invoice Numbers.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINVCPM, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority and Status.

    • Invoice generation: Organisation Code, Laboratory Code and Invoice Number.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINVGEN, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority.

    • Invoice generation: Generate, Group, FileId, InvoiceNo, LinkedInvoiceNo, InvoiceType, Status (of Invoice generation), Description, LaboratoryCode, OrganisationCode, TemplateCode and Ignore Tax.

    • Emailing requirements: Email, Email From, Email To, Email Cc, Email Bcc, Subject and Email Content.

    • Printing requirements: Print, Printer Name and Number Copies.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINVM, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority and Status.

    • Invoice generation: Organisation Code, Laboratory Code, Primary Invoice Number and All Invoice Numbers.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINVR, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority and Status.

    • Invoice generation: Organisation Code, Laboratory Code and Invoice Number.

    Where the Job Name is CCBINVRCL, then the following details display:

    • Batch job details: Priority and Status.

    • Invoice generation: Organisation Code, Laboratory Code and Invoice Numbers.

    Where the Job Name is CCBLIBMANEXPORT, then the following details display:

    • Export source details: Organisation Code and Export Path.

    Where the Job Name is CCLIBMANUPLOAD, then the following details display:

    • Upload destination details: Upload URL.

    Where the Job Name is CCBPGEN, then the following details display:

    • Paperwork generation: JobCode, LaboratoryCode and OrganisationCode.

    Where the Job Name is CCBPRINT, then the following details display:

    • Printing requirements: Printer Name, File Group, File Id and Number Copies.

    • Report request or invoice details: Rep Rep Id, Inv No and Org Code.

    Where the Job Name is CCBRGEN, then the following details display:

    • Report generation: ReportRequestId, StatusType, IsRoundedValues, IsWaitForRepReq and Workbook Session Id.

    Where the Job Name is CCBSJGEN, then the following details display:

    • Schedule job generation details: Job Code, Laboratory Code, Organisation Code, Schedule Date and Future Event Seq.

    Where the Job Name is CCSCRTEXEC, then the following details display:

    • Script execution details: Organisation Code, Laboratory Code, Script Code, Parameter 1—5, Watch File Name and Watch Folder Name.

    Where the Job Name is SCHEDULE_JOB_SAMPLE_RECOVERY_BY_JOB, then the following details display:

    • Schedule job details: Laboratory Code, Organisation Code, Job Code, Future Event Sequence Number.

To delete batch job executions:

  1. Access the MSEJEX—Job Execution application from the main menu or quick launch to display the MSEJEX—Search Job Execution screen.
  2. Enter the relevant search criteria and click Search to display batch job executions that match the criteria.
  3. Select the check box of batch job executions on the search results grid to be marked as received.
  4. Click Delete to display the Confirm Delete dialog box.
  5. Click Confirm.
