Configuring Invoice Report Templates

Invoice reports are the invoice documents raised for clients, generated from the CCINV—Invoice application, and encompass:

  • Work-in-progress invoices
  • Estimate invoices
  • Preliminary and final invoices
  • Credit notes.

Invoice reports are created using the report template linked to the invoice.

The Crystal Reports and Chunk Text report engines are used to create reports in CCLAS.

A report template is created in an authoring tool and structured according to the report engine in use, after which it is uploaded to CCLAS using the CCTPLR—Report Template application.

A direct source connection (DSC) file is used to create result sets for the report, including database fields, logo images and text notes.

The system may be customised to run report scripts at various stages during the report generation.
