Conditions for Auto-activation of a Job

If the AUTO_ACTIVATE_JOBS application preference is:

• Not defined, or is defined and selected, and a job has a Job Type of Production or Proposal, and the job has a Workflow Status of Registered, when you successfully expand a group of samples to create the individual samples in the job, then the job is automatically activated such that its Workflow Status is set to Not Started.
• Defined and is cleared, or the job does not have a Job Type of Production nor Proposal, or the job does not have a Workflow Status of Registered, when you successfully expand a group of samples to create the individual samples in the job, then the job is not automatically activated such that its Workflow Status remains as Registered.
