Conditions for Auto-activation of Upper Scheme Analytes

If the AUTO_ACTIVATE_UPPER_SCHEME application preference is:

  • Defined and is checked, and there is an upper scheme code and upper analyte code defined for the scheme version analyte, and the sample has that upper scheme and upper analyte registered for it, and the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is Not Analysed or No Result, when you successfully ignore a critical upper detection limit failure, then the upper sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is set to Repeat which allows an operator to locate all samples requiring a repeat so that they can be batch for analysis.
  • Not defined, or is defined and is cleared, or there is not an upper scheme code and upper analyte code defined for the scheme version analyte, or the sample does not have that upper scheme and upper analyte registered for it, or the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is Not Analysed or No Result, when you successfully ignore a critical upper detection limit failure, then the workflow status of that upper sample scheme analyte does not change.
