Conditions for Auto-completion of a Laboratory Batch Sample

When the cascade engine evaluates a sample's Workflow Status, where:

• The related job's Job Type is Lab Batch,
• For each sample in the job, the sample's Workflow Status is Completed, Listed Not Received, Insufficient Sample, Not Analysed or No Result,
• At least one sample's Workflow Status is Completed,
• The AUTO_COMPLETE_LAB_BATCH_SAMPLES application preference is:
  • Defined and is checked, then the sample's Workflow Status sets to Completed.
  • Not defined, or is defined and is cleared, then the sample's Workflow Status remains at Released.
