Restrictions on Releasing a Result Manually

When an attempt is made to release a result, where:

• The sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is Analysed, because the analyte is not configured for automatic release,
• The scheme's Section Code is:
  • Not defined, then the action proceeds in which the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status sets to Released, and following on from that, is validated automatically where the scheme's Auto Validate is selected, or require manual validation otherwise.
  • Defined, and for the scheme's section, the section's Release Result User Group Code is not defined, then the action proceeds in which the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status sets to Released, and following on from that, is validated automatically where the scheme's Auto Validate is selected, or require manual validation otherwise.
  • Defined, and for the scheme's section, the section's Release Result User Group Code is defined, and the user is a member of the user group, then the action proceeds in which the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status sets to Released, and following on from that, is validated automatically where the scheme's Auto Validate is selected, or require manual validation otherwise.
  • Defined, and for the scheme's section, the section's Release Result User Group Code is defined, and the user is not a member of the user group, then the action does not proceed, such that, the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status remains as Analysed.
