Restrictions on Validating a Result Manually

When a user attempts to validate a result, where:

• The sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status is Released, because the analyte is not configured for automatic completion,
• The Composite QC Status is:
  • Failed, then the action does not proceed, and the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status remains as Released.
  • Something other than Failed, and the scheme's Section Code is not defined, then the action proceeds in which the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status sets to Completed.
  • Something other than Failed, and the scheme's Section Code is defined, and the section's Validate Result User Group Code is not defined, then the action proceeds in which the scheme version analyte's Workflow Status sets to Completed.
  • Something other than Failed, and the scheme's Section Code is defined, and the section's Validate Result User Group Code is defined, and the user is a member of the user group, then the action proceeds in which the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status sets to Completed.
  • Something other than Failed, and the scheme's Section Code is defined, and the section's Validate Result User Group Code is defined, and the user is not a member of the user group, then the action does not proceed, such that, the sample scheme analyte's Workflow Status remains as Released.
