Appendix—Inheritance of Scheme or Template Details into Jobs and Report Requests

Jobs and samples can be created in various ways, and schemes registered on samples can be org-scope, enabled-scope or laboratory-scope schemes. Scope rules affect the inheritance of scheme or template details into jobs, job schemes, job scheme analytes, samples, sample schemes and sample scheme analytes.

There are also scope rules that apply when inheriting details into report requests from jobs.
