QC Failure Events

QC failure events refer to failures resulting from quality control assessments which occur after data is entered against a sample scheme analyte when the workbook is opened in either raw results or final results mode.

The job audit's Event Code for QC failure events is QCF. QC failure events are defined in the following table.

This occurs in a workbook when a cell value is entered and the workbook is in raw result or final result mode and a scheme version analyte's Analyte Type is Analytical and:

  • The sample scheme analyte's Internal DL Status is set to Failure, Lower Failure, Upper Failure or Trend Failure.

  • The sample scheme analyte's Limit Status is set to Failure, Lower Failure, Upper Failure or Trend Failure.

  • The sample scheme analyte's Standard Status is set to Failure, Lower Failure, Upper Failure or Trend Failure.

  • The sample scheme analyte's Precision Status is set to Failure, Lower Failure, Upper Failure or Trend Failure.

  • The sample scheme analyte's Specification Status is set to Failure, Lower Failure, Upper Failure or Trend Failure.

and the sample scheme analyte's Composite QC Status is set to Failure.
