When updating sample notes during registration, updating sample notes for a sample from job and sample validation or updating notes for multiple samples and the F2 function key is pressed whilst entering the sample's Report Notes such that the Select Canned Comments dialog box is displayed, then the Select Canned Comments dialog box is displayed and Category Code is pre-populated with the categories pre-defined in the preference, and the drop-down list is populated with the canned comments linked to those categories.
