When you select Ignore QC to Ignoring a Composite QC Failure in a Workbook Session in the CCWKOP—Open Workbook, or ignoring a composite QC failure whilst Releasing and Validating Results during Job and Sample Validation in the CCVALN—Validation application, and you do not supply a reason as to why it was ignored:
- If checked, then an error is raised and the ignoring of the composite QC failure does not proceed.
- If cleared, (default on deploy; default if missing), then the ignoring of the composite QC failure proceeds regardless.
Typically the preference is not set at role or user level.
