VALIDATE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP
STRING, comprising a user group code
When you request to validate a laboratory batch job whilst Completing and Validating Samples and Jobs in the CCVALN—Validation application and the system attempts to set the job's Workflow Status to Completed and then stamp the Validated Date (which can only occur when the job's Workflow Status is Released or Completed), then:
- If empty (default), or contains an invalid user group code, or you are not a member of the user group, and you are not a member of the user group specified by the COMPLETE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP application preference, then the completion and validation action does not proceed.
- If empty (default), or contains an invalid user group code, or you are not a member of the user group, but you are a member of the user group specified by the COMPLETE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP application preference, then the job's Workflow Status proceeds to Completed, but validation action does not proceed.
- If you are a member of the user group, but you are not a member of the user group specified by the COMPLETE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP application preference, and the job's Workflow Status is Released, then the completion and validation action does not proceed.
- If you are a member of the user group, but you are not a member of the user group specified by the COMPLETE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP application preference, and the job's Workflow Status is Completed, then the job's Validated Date is stamped.
- If you are a member of the user group, and you are a member of the user group specified by the COMPLETE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP application preference, and the job's Workflow Status is Released, then the job's Workflow Status proceeds to Completed and the job's Validated Date is stamped.
- If you are a member of the user group, and you are a member of the user group specified by the COMPLETE_BATCH_JOBS_USERGROUP application preference, and the job's Workflow Status is Completed, then the job's Validated Date is stamped.
