Header
- Organisation Scope
Indicates whether this entity is available organisation-wide or laboratory-wide.
- Checked—The entity is available to users who are logged into any laboratory within the organisation.
- Unchecked—The entity is only available to users who are logged into the current laboratory.
Setting the rounding table's scope upon successful creation depends upon the user's security level for the CCROUNDINGTABLE:CREATE resource. The possible security levels for the resource, from greater scope to lower scope, are:
- full—full
- 3—LAB AND ORG
- 2—ORG ONLY
- 1—LAB ONLY
A user can have multiple roles, and each role can contain different rights. Any of these role-right combinations may contain the resource.
If the resource does not exist across all role-right combinations for the user, then the user has no access to the resource. Otherwise the user's security level for the resource is determined as the greatest scope across all role-right combinations for the user. For example, if a user has Role1 that contains RightA, and Right A contains security level 2 for the resource, and the same user has Role2 that contains RightB, and RightB contains security level 1 for the resource, then the user has a security level of 2 for the resource.
The selection in this field can determine the visibility for other fields in this form, and the content of various drop-down selection lists.
-
Rounding Table Code
The unique code assigned to the rounding table.
-
Name
The name of the entity. Maximum length of 200 characters. Multi-language support.
-
Description
The description of the entity. Maximum length of 400 characters. Multi-language support.
-
Rounding Table Category
A category assigned to the rounding table. Selected from categories with a Category Type of ROUNDING.
-
Active
Indicates whether the entity is available in drop-down lists when selecting a category for an entity. An inactive entity cannot be selected for use.
-
Use ISO Rounding
Indicates whether to use ISO rounding.
-
Round Then Compare With DL
Indicates whether rounding is performed before comparing with the detection limits.
-
If not selected, a numeric raw value is compared with the Report Lower DL and Report Upper DL.
-
If selected, a rounded value is compared with the with the Report Lower DL and Report Upper DL.
-
-
Lower Limit String
The format in which a lower detection limit failure is displayed. The format of the display string is used if the result is lower than the Report Lower DL. If Lower Limit String is empty, then the default string of <{LL} is used. Examples:
<{0.001}less than {0.001}<{LL}
-
Upper Limit String
the format in which an upper detection limit failure is displayed. The format of the display string is used if the result is higher than the Report Upper DL. If Upper Limit String is empty, then the default string of <{UL} is used. Examples:
>{90.94}more than {90.94}>{UL}
-
Report Unit Code
The report unit associated with the rounding table. A unit may be selected from the drop-down list that contains active units in scope, as configured in the CCUNIT—Unit application. Click the field hyperlink to display the CCUNIT—Search Unit screen, select the appropriate value and click Select and Return to populate the field with the selected value.
Rounding Table Items Grid
The rounding table items, where each row is limited by the Result Detection Limit, used for rounding results to an appropriate magnitude.
-
Result Detection Limit
The value defining the upper limit of the Report Lower Detection Limit for the rounding table item.
If an input reportable result has its Report Lower Detection Limit less than or equal to the Result Detection Limit and the input reportable result is less than or equal to the Result Ceiling, then the row is used to determine the Convert Unit To Code, Report Display Mask and Increment for rounding the input reportable result.
-
Result Ceiling
The value defining the upper limit for the reportable result for the rounding table item.
If an input reportable result has its Report Lower Detection Limit less than or equal to the Result Detection Limit and the input reportable result is less than or equal to the Result Ceiling, then the row is used to determine the Convert Unit To Code, Report Display Mask and Increment for rounding the input reportable result.
-
Convert Unit To Code
The code of the unit to which the input reportable result is converted when it is determined that the rounding table item is used for rounding.
If an input reportable result has its Report Lower Detection Limit less than or equal to the Result Detection Limit and the input reportable result is less than or equal to the Result Ceiling, then the row is used to determine the Convert Unit To Code, Report Display Mask and Increment for rounding the input reportable result.
-
Report Display Mask
When the rounding table item is used to round a reportable result, the report display mask is the picture used to render the result. Ensure that the picture is expansive enough to contain the result, for example, a number greater than 9.99999 cannot be fixed into a picture of X.XX, but requires, at least, a picture of XXX.XX.
If an input reportable result has its Report Lower Detection Limit less than or equal to the Result Detection Limit and the input reportable result is less than or equal to the Result Ceiling, then the row is used to determine the Convert Unit To Code, Report Display Mask and Increment for rounding the input reportable result.
-
Increment
The step increment of the last digit in the rounded value produced by the Display Mask when it is determined that the rounding table item is used for rounding.
If an input reportable result has its Report Lower Detection Limit less than or equal to the Result Detection Limit and the input reportable result is less than or equal to the Result Ceiling, then the row is used to determine the Convert Unit To Code, Report Display Mask and Increment for rounding the input reportable result.
